Waste Management & Recycling

The Techren Foundation hosts a waste management & recycling program. This program help's teach responsible ways to manage waste and will introduce participants to how it can be recycled into new materials and objects.  Recycling is an alternative to conventional waste disposal that can save material and help lower greenhouse gas emissions.  These lessons bring awareness to participants on how rubbish and waste can cause air and water pollution.  We explain how to diminish harmful gases created by rotting garbage left out on our streets. These gases mix with the air affecting the breathing conditions of humanity. Another form of recycling is the salvage of certain materials from complex products, either due to their intrinsic value or due to their hazardous nature.  These essentials are often left out of our modern day curriculum but are never the less keys to improving our environment.

The program will address:

  • Multiple avenues of managing waste.

  • Full details on recyclable materials.

  • How Recyclables are sorted, cleaned, & reprocessed into new materials destined for manufacturing.

  • Comprehending composting or other reuse of biodegradable waste

  • How the TechRen Foundation can help schools, businesses and facilities alike properly dispose of waste.

  • The harmful affects to humanity and our planet by improper waste disposal.

  • How facilities, businesses & Schools can earn extra income from recycling.

Recycling is a key component of modern waste reduction and is the third component of the ReduceReuse, and Recycle waste hierarchy.  In a matter of minutes we will introduce to participants how the recycling of a material would produce a fresh supply of the same material. But most importantly we teach the reasons for waste collection, which is the protection of the environment, the health of our population and the longevity or our planet.
