How You Can Help

Get Involved

We invite you to join in the great rewards of helping children and adults along their journeys. Whether you have time, creative talent or donations to share, your contributions are most appreciated and sure to bring a smile to all of our participants.

There are many ways to help. Learn how you can affect the life of each and every client.

Donate Items or Group Projects

The TechRen Foundation has a number of opportunities available for community volunteers to pool their talent and energy on special projects to benefit our clients and their families. From group projects to individual support, these projects are perfect for community groups who hope to make a difference in the lives of the clients we serve. Corporate groups, please visit our site at Corporate Groups.

Due to patient confidentiality and infection control, donated items are distributed by The TechRen Foundation staff. Unfortunately, we cannot allow individuals and groups to distribute donated items to clients. For the safety of our patients, all items must be new and unused in their original packaging. Please do not gift-wrap donated items.

Holiday Donations

Every year, The TechRen Foundation strive to bring holiday cheer to clients and visitors by decorating common spaces and halls of the facility with holiday wreaths and trees. We call this event Deck the Halls.

Annual Gift Drive

The TechRen Foundation has a tradition of giving each client a gift on December 25. Gifts come from generous donations from the public and are wrapped by staff. Any gifts that are not distributed are given to children/adults throughout the remainder of the year on birthdays and other milestones.
