Alternative Clean Energy Solutions & Independent Living
This initiative empowers disenfranchised families to build and maintain tiny homes powered by clean energy. Through hands-on training, participants learn solar systems, battery backup, and sustainable practices, giving them tools for self-reliance.
The TechRen Foundation has launched a new initiative in which we believe all individuals deserve the option to manage and provide their own clean energy resources. When we say this, we mean that every human being should have the tools required to refine, maintain and distribute clean energy for themselves. We are beyond the age when we had a lack of understanding the modern technologies and what is required to maintain them. We set to lead by example by providing migrant and disenfranchised families with assistance to build tiny homes and power them with alternative clean energy resources that can be maintained individually.

Our programs include a structured atmosphere which incorporates physical health activities and ideal health habits for life. Our broad range of games and activities expose participants to forms of exercise that don't simply involve running around a track. Our Activities incorporate strategy, skill-building, exercises, and fun.
We offer the following activities/events:
- Fun at the Beach
- Kick Ball
- Feel the Beat with Active
-Gaming

Scientific research has shown that increasing low intensity exercise produces a very low risk of injury to the heart of muscle skeletal system. A light- to moderate–intensity activity, such as 5 to 15 minutes of walking per session, 2 to 3 times a week.

Basic Computer and
Internet Training
Inspired by Veronica Varnedoe & Michael Brown's combined background in Information Technology, this program equips individuals with essential digital literacy skills. Using hands-on training, accessibility tools, and customized desktops, we make technology second nature for seniors and individuals with disabilities..
We use a carefully choreographed curriculum geared towards providing the key tools required to operate modern technology. We use hands on training along with slide shows, video tutorials and problem solving tools to familiarize participants with technology making it second nature.
We also have a program that provides Desktop Computers to qualifying facilities. These desktops are configured to accommodate individuals with developmental disabilities. Each device utilizes tools such as Microsoft Accessibility which is a Windows resource that lists guides helpful for specific types of difficulties and impairments especially among individuals with developmental disabilities and the elderly

Music Therapy
Inspired by Program Director Natasha Hill’s passion for performance, our Music Therapy program blends the joy of live music with therapeutic connection. Natasha has shared her talents performing musical theater and acting on stage, as well as bringing live music experiences to seniors at Brookdale Senior Living centers. Drawing from this background, she now channels her artistry into creating structured choral and instrumental sessions for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Through rhythm, song, and performance, participants build confidence, creativity, and emotional expression, while experiencing the healing power of music in a supportive, engaging environment.
Our Musical Therapy program is designed to make a connection, specifically with individuals with developmental and learning disabilities. Through a professionally organized choral process, individuals will actively participate in a musical experience creating music with instruments, their voices, or other objects. This allows for the participants to be physically creative and expressive through the art of music.
We encourage Individual singing, specifics procedures, indicators of success, and extension activities with our clients. Our trained staff are beside you every step of the way.

Waste Management and
Recycling

The program will address:

Multiple avenues of managing waste.
-
Full details on recyclable materials.
-
How Recyclables are sorted, cleaned, & reprocessed into new materials destined for manufacturing.
-
Comprehending composting or other reuse of biodegradable waste
-
How the TechRen Foundation can help schools, businesses and facilities alike properly dispose of waste.
-
The harmful affects to humanity and our planet by improper waste disposal.
-
How facilities, businesses & Schools can earn extra income from recycling.
Recycling is a key component of modern waste reduction and is the third component of the Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle waste hierarchy. In a matter of minutes we will introduce to participants how the recycling of a material would produce a fresh supply of the same material. But most importantly we teach the reasons for waste collection, which is the protection of the environment, the health of our population and the longevity or our planet.

Fairness, Accountability, & Equal Justice Program
Drawing from Founder Michael Brown’s personal experience with systemic injustice in the family court system, this new program champions fairness and accountability in Florida’s (and the nation’s) legal system. Focused especially on disabled individuals and disenfranchised fathers, we work to expose inequities, demand enforcement of rights, and promote equal access to justice.
The TechRen Foundation’s Fairness, Accountability, and Equal Justice Program is dedicated to addressing systemic inequities in the United States legal system, with a particular focus on individuals with disabilities and families who face barriers to justice.
This initiative advocates for equal access, due process, and fair treatment in the courts, correctional facilities, and administrative agencies. Many people with disabilities encounter legal challenges in areas such as housing, healthcare, employment, and education but often lack the resources to navigate a complex system.
Through this program, TechRen will:
-
Provide advocacy and guidance for disabled individuals and their families involved in legal proceedings.
-
Build partnerships with legal aid organizations and civil rights groups to expand access to affordable or pro bono legal services.
-
Offer educational workshops on rights awareness, self-advocacy, and navigating the justice system.
-
Work with policymakers and community leaders to promote reforms that ensure fairness and accountability within Florida’s legal institutions.
By combining advocacy with education, the program seeks to empower marginalized communities, reduce discrimination, and foster trust in systems that should serve everyone equally.
