Program Director
Natasha Hill
Natasha has an educational background that includes 10 years of experience supporting people with developmental disabilities. In 2014, she received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix with an emphasis on developmental disabilities. She is also trained in the areas of Resident Rights, Behavior Management, CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, and person centered planning. Natasha is dedicated to providing quality services and eager to help meet the needs of the individuals we serve.
In her free time she loves to perform at local theaters and senior facilities. She truly believes community involvement is the driving force to positive outcomes in the world around us.
Director of Operations
Veronica Varnedoe
Veronica Varnedoe brings a unique blend of discipline, technical expertise, and administrative excellence to the TechRen Foundation team. A proud veteran, she served eight years in the United States Army, where she developed strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills that continue to guide her work today.
Following her military service, Veronica built a career spanning over 30 years as an executive assistant, where she mastered clerical operations, office management, and professional communications at the highest levels of support. Her ability to navigate complex administrative systems ensures smooth operations and efficiency in every environment she serves.
Her combined background in the military & executive administration reflects her deep commitment to service, structure, and accessibility. Veronica is passionate about creating inclusive learning environments for disenfranchised and marginalized communities, making her an invaluable part of the TechRen Foundation’s mission to empower individuals of all abilities.
Director of Community Impact and Partnerships
Kimberly McKenzie
Kimberly leads initiatives that bridge technology with grassroots communities to drive equity, access, and innovation. With over a decade of experience in outreach, advocacy, and organizational leadership, Kimberly brings a deep commitment to social justice and community-centered engagement. Prior to joining TechRen, she served as the Director of Outreach and Community Engagement at the Sylvia Rivera Law Project, where she championed the rights of marginalized communities and developed impactful programs rooted in equity and empowerment. Kimberly is known for her strategic vision, collaborative spirit, and dedication to building inclusive ecosystems that serve everyone.
Founder
Michael Brown
Michael A. Brown is the Founder of The TechRen Foundation, with more than 25 years of experience in Information Technology and a lifelong passion for empowering underserved communities. Growing up in New York, he faced physical and behavioral challenges, attending the NYS Institute for Special Education’s Vancleve Program and the Hallen School. These experiences gave him firsthand insight into the barriers faced by individuals with special needs and shaped his commitment to inclusion, advocacy, and equity.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Project Management at Southern New Hampshire University, Michael combines technical expertise with personal resilience to lead TechRen’s innovative programs in technology, agriculture, clean energy, and the arts. Having also endured systemic injustice during his divorce, he champions fairness and accountability in family law, while ensuring that TechRen creates opportunities for independence, dignity, and growth for all participants.
