TechRen Foundation Expands Alternative Clean Energy & Independent Living Program, Fall 2026

Lexington, TN (Henderson County) – Fall 2026 – The TechRen Foundation is proud to expand its Alternative Clean Energy & Independent Living Program, empowering disenfranchised families across the U.S. to achieve self-reliance through sustainable living.

This initiative helps participants design and build tiny homes powered by clean energy, supported by hands-on training in solar systems, battery backups, and eco-friendly practices. By blending technology with sustainability, TechRen provides communities with tools to thrive independently.

“We believe everyone deserves the ability to manage their own resources,” said Veronica Varnedoe, Director of Operations. “Our program equips families with practical skills to maintain renewable energy systems and embrace sustainable living, one household at a time.”
