At The TechRen Foundation, our Work Study and Adult Day Training (ADT) programs are designed to empower adults with developmental disabilities, youth, and disenfranchised individuals by building life skills, fostering independence, and connecting participants to real-world learning experiences.

🌱 Community Adult Day Training (ADT) Program

Purpose:
Empower adults (21+) to achieve greater independence and community involvement through supervised, hands-on learning experiences.

Weekdays: 8:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M.

🎶 Music Therapy: Singing & Self-Expression Workshop

Objective:
Encourage confidence, posture, and vocal development through familiar songs and engaging group activities.

Purpose:
To promote physical health, teamwork, and fun through accessible, low- to moderate-intensity activities that strengthen both body and mind. Our program emphasizes safe, gradual progress and lifelong wellness habits.

Scientific research shows that low-intensity exercise like 5 to 15 minutes of walking, 2 to 3 times a week can significantly improve overall fitness with minimal risk. Participants build confidence by starting small and gradually increasing activity levels each week.

TechRen’s carefully choreographed curriculum combines interactive training, slide shows, video tutorials, and problem-solving tools to make technology second nature.
We also provide donated desktop computers to qualifying facilities, each system customized for accessibility and ease of use for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Purpose:
To use the power of gardening as a tool for learning, healing, and community development, helping youth and adults build life skills, confidence, and environmental stewardship through hands-on agricultural experiences.
Program Overview:
The TechRen Foundation Agriculture Program promotes gardening as a dynamic educational and therapeutic activity that supports mental, emotional, and social growth. Participants learn to care for the earth, nurture living things, and cultivate patience, teamwork, and pride in their work.
Through creative outdoor projects and small-scale gardening, participants develop a connection between nature, nutrition, and community, gaining lessons that extend far beyond the soil.
